Ever since I was a child, I have loved the book "Little Women", by Louisa May Alcott. In the 1970's, before VCR recorders and such, I watched the above movie on the television. I think it was one that came on for two days. I loved it, and had always wished to see it again. Well, last week I found it at Amazon.com and purchased it! It came in the mail on Monday and I watched part one yesterday. I am looking forward to watching part two today! The weatherman is calling for extremely bad weather today (wind, downpours, possible tornadoes, yuck!) so it will be a perfect day to hunker down and watch a movie. Ever since I was a child, I always said that I was born a hundred years too late. Movies, books and quilts from the 1860's remain my favorites!! I love repro. Civil War fabrics and homespun plaids.
